• Absolutely! Just connect an HDMI cable to the ARC port on the TV and on your receiver. The remote will then automatically turn on the receiver when you turn on the TV. The remote also adjusts the mute & volume controls on your receiver.

• The remote that comes with the TV is not designed to control devices other than the TV. If your receiver features an HDMI ARC connection and supports CEC, and you connect it through this manner, the TV remote should control volume. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
