“I thought best buy had halted sale of the r646 until TCL has corrected the many issues that plaques this particular model. Now I see the r646 is on sale for $999. Does that mean that the problems have been fixed??”

No. I have the update from 2 days ago and the TV locked up just the same. Maybe things are a tiny bit faster but having to unplug my tv daily is ridiculously still happening
