All of our TCL TVs featuring Google TV receive the most current software updates that are available once connected to the Internet. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

You would normally have to relHowever, i've found TCL to be quite good at releasing updates in regular intervals that have generally improved the functionality of the television.
