I am getting this for my pc. It’s an and athlon II x4 635 @2.9GHz with 8gb ddr3 1600 ram, a Singtel optical drive, single hdd, creative labs sound card and an Asus GTX560 DirectCU II OC. The graphics card required a 12v rail @24 amps. Is this good enough? null

I would double check with PS manufacturer. I run ATX Mobo with Intel I7. 32gb RAM, 1tb SSD, 1 tb HDD, 2X 2TB HDD,CD RW drive, 2x 4-port USB hubs (internally powered), and Radeon 590 powering 4 27"screens. 

I checked with manufacturer of video card, they recommended 600W PS. I went with 700W PS because I wanted some overhead just in case.

Check the wattage of the original(current) power supply installed in your pc. The original was most likely 300 or 400 watts. If so, the Thermaltake - SMART 700W ATX 80 Plus Power Supply - Black should be more than enough wattage.

Yes it's more power than you actually need. I'm running a similar Phenom II X4 system with it and it works beautifully.
