The power supply was dead when I got it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a HP Prodesk 600 which I am using this in, This power supply is similar in size to the one in my system but not an exact fit. It fit only 1 way and snapped in but doesn't screw in, but it doesn't move once clipped in. The other part which made it more difficult was that hp has proprietary motherboard connector and doesnt have a standard 24 pin connector. I managed to find a conversion cable in multiple places for my prodesk that allowed me too convert the 24 pin atx to a 6 pin and a 4 pin on my system. I looked up your system, http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06504786.pdf i cant tell if its the same size, but it looks like a similar setup to what i have. The problem is you need some kind of cable the will allow you to plug the power supply into your motherboard. It's probably out there like mine was but you'll have to search for it. Google is your friend.
