RJ; Yes, not a problem. The power sources are close enough, where you should not lack the power to run the motherboard, DVD Player, fans, and Hard drive. You can always mix and match these two power sizes. I don't see an issue. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you have a 500 watt power supply now and are gaming Nvidea 750 and up get 500 or 600 watt TR2 Atx power supply maybe 10-20 dollars more. Well worth it for stability of performance. ps all processors are not created equal they range from 65watt to 125watt (see manufacture specs) 65 watt processor with gtx610 ok for TR2 430watt. 95 watt processors with same video card would build with 500 watt min depending on graphics card. 125watt processors need 500 -600 watt minimum to be stable or higher wattage depending on video card.. new processors are being made that are 220 watt which require special motherboards and power supplies (big money most of us won't be buying soon anyway).
