What is max heat resistance null

Manufacturer states up to 1050F - 565C Unfortunately, mine failed after one use. Not sure if it was temp related… I think the grill/smoker only got up to around 550F. I’ll be trying to exchange it in hopes the replacement doesn’t have any issues.
