Aloha Terri, The THOR Stainless Steel Range does not have finished side panels, they are dark industrial grey and not meant to show. Other than that I absolutely love the stove, best one I’ve ever had. We specifically choose this one because it did not have any electronics on it. We have a lot of surges out here on Kauai, and it ruins all our appliances. Mahalo, Sherri
