- Answer I recently bought my wife the 13.3 inch MacBook Pro. When I put the computer in the Thule case it seems as it has a little more room to fit a 14.2 MacBook pro. My answer would be Yes.

- Answer Yes. At first I didn't think it would then realized the new MacBook is square edged and the case has rounded edges. Fits snug but I like it better than the Thule I had for the 16inch pro. Closes/zips nicely and fits cables/batter well.

- Answer I would caution you using it within the case. The little straps at the bottom of the case (to keep it open) now enter into play and if you close your laptop and those straps are stuck in between the laptop, it has been reported to crack your screen! Take it out of case…safe, sound, venting properly. I think of my case as a safe transit option only and remove my laptop when using. IMO

- Answer This is in between hard case and a soft case. It is very durable and high quality. Also, it is lined inside. With 2 large pockets.
