Yes, but not from too far away. It works directly through Bluetooth, so you or another person in the 'tile community' needs to be near enough to the dog to connect to it.

Yes. I tracked my husband during a half marathon so I could cheer him on at multiple spots during the race. Worked pretty well. There was a lag but not too bad with the app.

They have them for dogs and you could use this on their dog collar
