What is the life span of the Tile Sport? null

Not long enough. Live span depends on how much you use it. Battery can't be replaced.

The one I kept on my keychain lasted three weeks before breaking

Google it, not exactly sure but i think it is a year.

They tell you about one year, but mine lasted almost 2 years. I was very pleased. I assume it will depends varying upon the user.

Tile says there only good for a year. I say it depends on how much you actually have to use it. But in the tile app after a year it claims it has to be replaced.

I understand they last for a year

Hard to say but as I recently purchased mine however, my original Tile lasted about 6 months before cracking.
