Each one can be activated by a different phone. I shared with my daughter in college. Yes you can give them to others to activate!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I bought 2, 4-packs to give as Christmas gifts this year. And yes, I broke up the 4-packs and gave the Tiles to individuals. I just took a photo of the (simple) set up directions and texted the photo to the recipients. Basically all they have to do is get the Tile App and it walks them thru the EZ process. I got a better deal this way:)
