“I just connected this new TV and get nothing. The red power light is steady (indicating OFF), when I press power on, the red light flashes four times then goes out. Nothing on the screen, no menu, nothing. I suppose I bring it back in the morning.”

Try unplugging the tv then plug it in again. If it still doesnt go on id say to definitely take it back. Its defective. Shame these things happen.
