“I am hearing challenged and use Sennheiser (blue toothed) headphones. If I plug my headphones in the Audio Out, can my wife still listen to the TV normally while my headphones are plugged in to Audio Out? Thanks!”

Try to use a 3.5 mm splitter, to connect the headphones and a soundbar.
