“I have Comcast as my cable provider. Technician from Xfinity-Comcast set it up for me, but said I have to use the TV remote to turn on and off the TV and not the cable remote. Does anyone else have this problem?”

• Try this, go to: Settings > Display & Sounds > HDMI CEC Device Control and select On.

• No you can either remote to turn tv on but to watch xfinity you have to use xfinity remote. How ever if download xfinty app you can get by just using fire remote
