“Can the smart feature be disabled? I’m looking for a tv for my in-laws & just want the tv to go right to tuner when turned on. Also does it keep that setting after power loss?”

When the TV is first powered on you can choose basic or full setup. Basic mode allows only 5 apps to be used, everything else is disabled. This setting can only be changed by performing a factory reboot.
