“The stands for this tv are about 43” apart. I have a corner tv table that measures 40” at its widest width. This new tv 50” Toshiba will not fit on my current TV table due to the stand placement. Is there a more centered support post that can be used?”

Encountered the same problem. Went to Home Depot and bought a board to support the TV. Works great.
