“I have a Samsung smart tv and have terrible problems with buffering even though my modem is only 30 feet away. My modem is operating fine with our 4 other tv’s but not this Samsung. Is there a recognized problem with Samsung’s ? Is your tv better ?”

I'm not experiencing any buffering between my router and Toshiba,this is my first smart TV but second Toshiba, so I dont really have much to compare it with except my desktop,and putting the two together running Netflix or hulu and YouTube at the same time I see no buffering; Although when a massive download is going on I do see a little bit, but I think that has to do with the TV being connected via wifi and not a hard line.
