• No, this TV has a built in TV tuner so you would be able to receive "over the air" TV stations with the use of a digital antenna.

• Yes you have to have WiFi or a hard line and an account to run certain apps on this tv

• You can use either or both. You can connect Cable TV to this TV, connect it to your wireless internet or both. However, if you aren't going connect this to your internet, you won't benefit from the Fire TV interface so another TV may be a better fit.
