Can the motion smoothing for the TV be disabled? null

Yes.. that's the first thing I did. With it enabled the video was worse! It was like a slideshow with mpeg noise in it. Not my favorite TV. No wonder it was on sale. If I didn't open the remote to cut the pc board etch that leads to the microphone, I would have returned it.
