• TurboTax CD/Download desktop software will transfer the previous year's tax data file (.tax2021 file) or PDF from the 2021 TurboTax desktop or online software. Once you complete your return you have option to save to your desktop. For more detail search our TurboTax Community webpage for "Transfer last year's return to 2021 TurboTax for Windows."
