• Hi! Yes, the Twinkly App is the same, you can also group these lights together creating a virtual group! (Just keep in mind that they must have the same LED profile for being grouped together: for example RGB with RGB, RGBW with RGBW, Aww with Aww ) The main differences between generation I and II are about performances and other features, but the App is the same! You can find more about the differences between the two generations in the Help section of our website!

• Yes u can control them from the same app generation 1 and 2 just don't sync together. I have a set of generation 1 and the options are not as good
