• It does not charge FAST, but it will charge. You have to "set it and forget", and do not take it off for at least 10-15 minutes to produce a charge

• Sorry, no, best to use when you need to get to bed and phone needs a charge...can do charging while you sleep. Most phones now have Fast Charge that takes just over an hour for full charge.
