Hello Linda, As a person who owns an IPAD PRO, I wanted to take this time to answer your question regarding removing the cover. The cover I am using that allows me to use the Smart Keyboard is a UAG. I use the Smart Keyboard in Conjunction with the UAG cover without having to remove it. I feel in my honest opinion the ONLY cover that I can use with the Keyboard. Let me know if you want me to send you some photos of the way it looks with smart keyboard and cover altogether. HOPE THIS HELPS!
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You don’t need to take the case off! The side of the iPad with the connector has no case edge along it so the keyboard will attach perfectly! It might just be a tad odd to move the iPad and keyboard at the same time but no big deal really!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you have to take off the front corner to add keyboard.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. You can use both covers together. Works great. A bit odd to get them folded out for use but doable and functional.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think you would have to do that. The keyboard is Bluetooth to the iPad and not physically connected. I don't see any reason to take the cover off to just an external keyboard. I don't have a keyboard, but looking at mine I doubt very seriously that it would have to be taken off. Hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you just have to take off the front of the case which isn't difficult to do! It works flawlessly with the apple keyboard for the iPad Pro along with folding flat like a case!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you don't. They work great together. Have someone at Best Buy demonstrate it for you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can just detach the screen cover/flap. The actual protective cover stays on and the keyboard port is exposed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
