Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Like any portable SSD, the Sandisk Extreme requires no more voltage, wattage, or amperage that is typically supplied by a USB port. Platter drives are different: sometimes they only require the same, but larger and/or faster drives will may need a second USB connector to supply all the required power. So this dock will supply enough power through any of its USB ports. Just be sure you connect everything correctly and that all your cables are capable of carrying both a charge AND data (some do only one or the other).
