• This USB-C hub is compatible with MacBook Pro, but please note that it does not have a Thunderbolt 4 port.

• This dock is is C3.2 and A3.2 so your Thunderbolt 4 will have to be backward compatible with 3.2

• Proficient: highly competent, skilled, or adept at a particular task, subject, or activity. Don't think a machine fits this definition, but the dock will work with any device that has the correct ports, including modern Mac Pros. However, the dock maxes out at 10Gbps, while Macs are capable of 40Gbps (earlier models) to 120Gbps (burst speed), so you will be limited to the slower speed, that of the dock.
