• It’s the actual symbols on the front face of the speaker. Big buttons.

• Hello, If your Megaboom 3 doesn't have the "+" or "-" buttons on it, then go back to Best Buy and show them and they'll be sure to exchange it for another one. On the Night Black colorway of the Megaboom, those buttons are very prominent and are colored a solid black, matching the top and bottom of the speaker.
