Are the small speakers wireless null

They are wireless to the soundbar, but not to each other, there's a power cable connecting them both.

It looks like it needs a power cable from your wall outlet that goes to one speaker, then that speaker uses a cable connected to the other speaker. Wireless, no, but you don't have to run wires from the main unit all the way to the back of your room where the surround speakers are. It actually makes a big difference because wires don't have to hug your wall from one side of your room to the other to get to them.
