Doesn't have hdmi output / only puts the signal on Ethernet. Would need smart tv to look at signal.

Then you can use whatever device you want that's already on your network - iPad, Gaming Console, Apple TV, etc. - to reach out and grab it. DVR NAS devices or servers like Plex can grab onto the stream and record them too. This box does NOT have HDMI. It's a network port and antenna port only.

Please try again later.HDHomeRun products work with and through multiple devices in the home. for viewing Specifically on your Vizio TV we would work through our Android app on a FireTV or Nvidia Shield - or through an app on AppleTV4 devices. Vizio is not Android Based as Sony or LeOco or the Element FireTV Edition so a 3rd party box is required connected via HDMI. Which would offer you additional services as well through that said box.
