“Will the installation team also install the wooden hood the insert fits into? The wooden hood instructions suggested to install both at same time for easier install. We have a vent already prepped for it.”

on my installation, the install team did not consider any type of wood framing of the cabinetry to be part of their scope of installation; the range hood needed to fit in the cabinetry spot, or the homeowner is required to do any modifications needed to allow the range hood to fit and/or be connected to under-cabinet
