QuestionIf I purchase 4 of these radios, can they all be programmed to the same frequency to communicate?

- Answer I purchased four and all of mines are on the same channel, however if that channel is being used by someone else becaus all of the frequencies are free, then just rotate to another channel that's clear.

QuestionUniden 2 way radios #GMR5089-2CKHSPurchased units, need tech support because instead of 50 mile range we are lucky to get 2 blocks. Have tried 3 ph. numbers to no avail????? anyone out there to help????

- Answer As I read the instructions that depends on what city you're in. Look I'm in NY and if mines work ok, maybe Tech support is the way to go. Have you tried all of he channels to see what works best? Just a thought

Question3do we have to remove the protective wrapping off the battery before inserting into the two way radio,also when the radio is inserted into the charger is the charger supposed to stay red?

- Answer No my units stay red as well but they still charge just fine.
