Yes you can buy the case seperatly but it has to be in store.

You can only buy the steelbook for $9.99, only go to your local store, if don't have in physic stock, the personal can order it from the warehouse of Best Buy if is available and is delivery to yor address. (If in the web site say "Not for Individual Sale" is available). In future releases, you can go from day 1 of the game's release and you can order the steelbook for $9.99 without buying the game. How this works.
