• No. Blank CDs max out at 700 MB by their nature. What you want are blank DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RW or DVD+RW discs instead. Those hold at least 4.7 GB.

• Back of box says 700 Mp / equals 80 minutes recorded in less than 3 minutes at the highest speed. I use to burn homemade music recordings. They work great . Can listen to the music at home or in the car.
