• It highly depends on the prepaid plan you have, but General prepaid plans include the “Travel Pass” option which you can enable through the Verizon app, with this option activated I was able to call to the Dominican Republic for US$ 29, and I believe I can use it for around two hours of conversation for the day; I assume it would work similarly for calls to Mexico.
