This device puts out a Wi-Fi signal just as if you were at say like McDonald's or something. So yes if you hook your laptop and your printer up to the Wi-Fi it will work flawlessly. I have my printer hooked up through this is the only connection I print documents all the time off of my main computer. As far as signalboost I think you can buy an antenna but I have never used it. This gets its signal from Verizon cell towers just like your phone. So if you have good cell service you generally have good wifi.
