This is not designed to be used with external speakers; there are no terminals or jacks to plug external speakers directly into the player. It does have a headphone jack, so if you buy a headphone jack type cable with an RC jack adapter, you can plug it into the auxiliary input on a separate amplifier; it will then be possible to play the output through your amplifier and the speakers that you would connect to your amplifier.
