It has a 78 speed. However, I have a lot of experience with record players, repair, and restoration. The tip of the Re-Spin needle seems to be .7 mil. For the older shellac 78s, you need either a .3 or 1 mil needle tip. I have damaged .7 mil needles in the past by playing old 78s. Since you cannot buy the replacement needles right now (4/2024), you don't want to damage the one you get.
