The VX2728J does not have HDMI 2.0 but uses HDMI 1.4 instead.

I don't know? It's hard to see the ports and not every HDMI fits. They are located in an awkward place. You need to tilt the monitor to get to them and a flashlight is handy. Otherwise, once hooked up, nice picture quality and no glare from different views.
