Either - the speeds involved don't need a Cat-6 cable.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.it will work off of either. CAT 6 is better and the future. I have CAT5 on mine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm using a Carad HDMI EXTENDER using Cat 5 for a distant of 50 feet and the picture quality is excellent, no lost at all.m
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Either Type will Work. You just need to determine HOW LONG of cable you need. Any Brand Or Type will Work. You should buy whatever one is the Cheapest, but don't think of it as being 'cheap' because it isn't, it is being Wise to purchase the least expensive it ANY Cat5/Cat6 will work. I cannot explain the difference between 5 / 6 without being very detailed. Goto Google and type in ' difference between cat5 vs cat6 ' and you will get all the detail you need..... ( I am Telling you Again, Buy The Most Affordable / Correct Length, Because it will Totally Work Great No Matter which one you buy ) They suggested to get an Ethernet Cable because the TV can be connected to the Internet to watch Netflix and The other Apps that are Installed on the TV ( that's why they call it a SmartTV )
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Either is fine since it's not a computer and won't be using maximum bandwidth of the cable. The Cat5e cable will most likely be cheaper and will be adequate for the TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.cat5 would be the most economical, cat6 will work also but slightly more $, DOUBLE BUT all you really need is a wifi signal if its available.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Cat 5e cable would work very well for your TV. Insignia brand cable works just as well as most other brands available at BestBuy, such as this: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/insignia-3-cat-5e-network-cable-gray/6232022.p?id=1219198828345&skuId=6232022 Just buy the length needed. Cat 6 is newer, costs more, and would not yield any advantage to you for your application
