A:AnswerThis television has several applications built into the tv and has the ability to use Apple Airplay and Smartcast to play applications from another device on the tv. This tv does not have Roku built into it.
A:AnswerThe television does have a coax connector on it for an antenna or direct cable connection. If you are trying to connect a cable line, you would need to check with your cable provider to see if you need some type on cable box.
A:AnswerHey EssieMae, thanks for the question! As an alternative to the included stands the TV could be mounted to a tabletop TV stand, of which Best Buy sells a few options.
A:AnswerYou can! Open the food network app on your phone or tablet and click the cast icon and the videos will display on your TV if the TV and phone are on the same network.
A:AnswerThat is exactly why I purchased the tv. Serves primarily as a monitor via HDMI and a smart tv as a bonus. Response time is very good, I did not notice any lags at all. I'm running it on a Raspberry PI but runs as good as my dell monitor downstairs. Actually better with the 1080p resolution rendering very sharp images. Unit is very light and easy to mount. Included leg stands feel light/weak but should work ok if you don't move it around frequently. I recommend mounting it.
Note that it comes with functionality to cast from your apple device, thus separate AppleTV device is not needed to view a larger screen of your iPhone. Also comes with free OTA channels, some that I've never heard of but interesting content nonetheless. Lastly, expect a loooooooooong software update process once you connect to your wifi.
Enjoy!
