A:AnswerThe only way to control the channels would be if you are using the internal tuner of the television. If your are connecting a cable box to the HDMI or component ports all channel control would be completed with the cable remote.

To enjoy the Airplay feature, the iOS device needs iOS 12.3 or later, or a Mac running 10.14.5 or later and your VIZIO SmartCast HDTV and Apple devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
