• You have to use a HDMI spec 2.0 (or better) cable to get 4K. The (much) more common HDMI 1.4 cable will restrict you to 1080p (2K).

• You might want to ensure that the tv is updated and I believe they say for optimal viewing use the HDMI 1 port.
