“We have a 4k ultra HD TV. Is the Vizio 5.1 soundbar, subwoofer and 2 speakers recommended for and known to provide top quality for such or are other systems recommended for 4k ultra HD?”

YES. We have a very large living room and bought this for temporary use until I could purchase a much more expensive full surround system. Well guess what? I'm not going to waste my money. Setup was so easy. No pairing issues on the wireless. Everything you needed was in the box. And it sounds great. I have a very high end Samsung 65" 4K TV in a 600 sq ft living room... this was the best money I've spent for sound in a long time. I have 5 other surround systems in my house. This is by far the easiest to set up.
