“How much memory does the VIZIO - 50" come with for apps? The Toshiba 50" FIRE TV in the same size only has 4 gigs for apps and I would buy this one instead if it has at least 8 gigs of memory.”

you cannot install apps in this TV. Vizio provides the apps, they are many but are part of the TV firmware. To be able to install apps you need a RokyTV, an AndroidTV or a Tizen based Samsung, as far as I know.

Please try again later.This TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device.
