I am really happy with the picture and size on the M70-D3. As more 4K content come online you will really like it over your current Plasma. Once exception is plasma is still better than LED for movement like sports and action films. You need to move up to OLED technology to have the best all around experience. Now we are talking $$$$$$$

No, you won't regret. this tv out performs my old LG THX certified 50 Plasma. The color and contrast is better, 4k is better depending on screen and room size. If you don't like lcd's that have "soap opera effect" (looks like someone filmed it with a handycam) go into settings turn on Game Low Latency and turn off Clear Action. The 240 refresh is not as good as plasma's 600, but you won't be able to see the difference at that level.

I literally just moved my 4 u old 51" plasma upstairs and bought this m70, the speakers are better on the Panasonic but the technology is great on the m70. I can pick a movie off my phone from Google/Netflix/crackle/HBO and watch it instantly on the tv. The size for was a nice upgrade for me. As for picture, it'll be 1080p pretty much unless you have 4k bluray discs or netflix ultra.
