Same problem... I used a 3 year old T440 Lenovo w/ mini display port. I tried various 16:9 (hi-to low) resolutions and I couldn't get it to work on any of the HDMI ports. I believe it's 1920-1080p 60hz max on my CPU. So I think the tv will not upscale requiring a 1080p 120fps as a min requirement. I did get a yoga w/ mini hdmi to work, but not with a cable over 6'. I was using hdmi 1.4 cables. 1.4 cables have a 10g max. with digital signal degradation over distance. Hdmi 2.0 or hire may be required for over 6' runs and CPUs and devices that support hdmi 2.0 chipset and hire may be required. I'm not 100% positive on above, I just returned it.
