Try unplugging the battery for 45 seconds, then try again or try swapping that phone with the base phone.

Hi - We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the VTech IS8151-5. You may reset the affected handset by disconnecting the battery. Wait for 1 minute before reconnecting the battery then test the unit again.
