• Hi - The VTech IS8151-5 has a call screening feature. The said feature will enable you to hear the incoming messages on the telephone base as they are being recorded. You can also hear it from the cordless handset by pressing Menu/Select button while the message is being recorded. Thank you, -VTech Support
