“We’ve had this for a year and now both parent units go silent, if you increase volume you hear sound for a second then goes silent again. Do I need new batteries or just get brand new system? Really aggravating”

Butterfly21 did you get this to work after unplugging and removing batteries? We are having the same issue with ours.

You can use the parent unit to adjust the microphone sensitivity of your baby unit. The higher the sensitivity level, the more sensitive the baby unit is in detecting sounds for transmitting to the parent unit. You can also reset the baby monitor by disconnecting the AC adapters and the battery. Wait for 1 minute before reconnecting the AC adapters and the battery, then test the unit again.
