Hi - We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with adjusting the number of rings on your VTech CS6629-3. Here's the complete instructions on how to set the number of rings: Step 1: Press MENU when the phone is not in use. Step 2: Press ▼ or ▲ to scroll to Answering Sys then press SELECT. Step 3: Press ▼ or ▲ to scroll to Ans Sys Setup then press SELECT. Step 4: Press ▼ or ▲ to scroll to # of rings then press SELECT. Step 5: Press ▼ or ▲ to choose 6,5,4,3,2 or Toll Saver. Press SELECT to confirm your selection. You will hear a confirmation beep. Hope this helps! -VTech Support
